The dielectric relaxation of Liquid Crystal materials is characterized by three key parameters: the dielectric strength, the relaxation frequency and the distribution parameter. In this talk, the various models proposed for the dielectric relaxations would be discussed. Further, various collective and non-collective relaxation modes occurring in the chiral and non-chiral Subphases of liquid crystals would be presented. Finally the analysis ofeExperimental Data using above hypothesis would be discussed.
报告人简介:
Dr. Anoop K. Srivastava received Ph.D. degree from University of Allahabad in 2005. He has been awarded a Young Scientist Award from Department of Science and Technology, India. He received “Brain Korea Plus” Postdoctoral fellowship from Chonbuk National University, South Korea. Chonbuk National University has given him a “Certificate of Appreciation” for the research work on Carbon Nanotubes doped Liquid Crystals. He has published 63 research articles. His research interest includes Dielectric Spectroscopy, Liquid Crystals Display technology and control of dynamical motion of nanoparticles and nanorods for various applications.
